Prayer Gatherings

We hold weekly prayer gatherings at St Paul's Church alternating between

• Lunchtime from 1.00pm to 1.45pm
• Evening from 7.45pm to 9pm

Whilst it would be wonderful to have huge numbers for each prayer meeting, for now my hope is that we might each commit ourselves to coming to just one of these meetings and joining together in prayer for God to move in us and in our parish.

If the idea of praying out loud frightens you, please don’t worry. No one will be forced to pray out loud, but there will be plenty of help and encouragement as we grow together in prayer.

Please Join the Prayer Chain -  Thursday 25 th July

Noah’s surgery has been scheduled for Thursday 25 th July in Bristol. It will be a very long operation, so we are establishing a prayer chain to pray for him, for Ben, Sarah and the family, and for the surgical team, from 7 a.m. to midnight that day. Will you commit to praying for 30 minutes during that day? To sign up for a slot please sign up in church today or email Dave on rector@newtonabbotparishes.co.uk You might want to use Psalms 23, 27, 34, 46, 71 and 91 (amongst others), John 14:27, Romans 8:18-39, and the Lord’s Prayer as a basis for your prayers.

Our Prayer Gathering on Monday 29 th July at St Paul’s at 7:45 p.m. will continue to pray for Noah and the Maynard family. Prayer gatherings will then pause for August and begin again in September.
