We have three Mission Partners whom we support financially and in prayer.
Christians Against Poverty Teignbridge
CAP (Christians Against Poverty) Teignbridge provides Free Debt Help and personal support for those struggling with unmanageable debt. We are funded and supported by churches across Teignbridge. In December 2024 we provided 14 Christmas Hampers and gifts for CAP clients – for 19 adults and 7 children across Dawlish, Teignmouth, Kingsteignton and Newton Abbot, along with toys provided by Newton Abbot Salvation Army. We’re thrilled that Newton Abbot and Ogwell Parish is now partnering with us in this work.
One of our critical needs is for BEFRIENDERS. Befrienders join the debt coach at client appointments and help support the clients through the debt-help process. This service couldn’t function without the support of befrienders, but we have a real need for more befrienders, especially men. Could you please prayerfully consider whether you could be part of this support team. Thank you. The minimum commitment is only 2 hours/month. You wouldneed to be a good listener, and passionate about supporting those in poverty.
Prayer Support. We also have a Prayer Support Team who meet once a month to pray for CAP clients and the work of CAP Teignbridge. This is invaluable and makes a huge difference. Barnabas Aid
Barnabas Aid is an international Christian ministry that provides hope and practical support to suffering and persecuted Christians. Since 1993 we have worked in some of the most hostile and challenging contexts to help those who are targeted by violent extremists or endure significant hardship in their communities. These Christians are overlooked, under-served, and desperately need aid.
How we work
From Christians - You and others in your church pray and donate – the local church mobilising on behalf of the persecuted Church.
Through Christians - Your donation is channelled through trusted project partners and area churches who are already doing great work on the ground. This empowers those who are the experts in their own situations and regions.
To Christians - The aid is distributed to Christians who need it the most and Barnabas Aid receives reports on the impact and any follow-up needs.

Rachael and Bernie Muluuta
Bernie & Rachael are training for ministry in the UK before returning to their ongoing mission work in Uganda with Crosslinks. This involves work in young people’s and young adult’s discipleship training with Word of Life Uganda and Living Word Uganda.
They support churches across Uganda by providing Bible teaching, training and discipleship for women, children, youth and their leaders. They also run small group Bible studies, read the Bible with people one-to-one and teach at various events.
